Ann Park is starting her 33rd year as an educator: her first 4 as a math specialist and the last 29 as an upper elementary teacher in the Oakland Unified School District. To date, she has mentored 51 student teachers and currently teaches 5th grade at Bridges Academy at Melrose in East Oakland. Over the years, Ann has worked on creating curriculum and supports in OUSD in Science, Math, Ethnic Studies, and Reading. She has been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2002, is a 2016 CA Teacher of the Year, and is also a Bay Area Writing Project teacher-consultant.
