Program Overview

Our Greater Good Education Program at the Greater Good Science Center offers a range of research-based programs designed to support education professionals at every level. From research-based articles and classroom strategies to drop-in community meetings, immersive professional development, and a year-long leadership program for whole-school change, our programs help educators cultivate well-being–for themselves, their students, and their communities.

Move at your own pace through our collection of online courses. Dive deeper into the science behind our practices and explore rich resources to bring to your community.

Join one of our monthly drop-in meetings for educators on Zoom. Explore a well-being topic, experience a practice, and learn from like-minded education professionals and special guests from all over the world. These meetings run monthly from August through May.

The Greater Good Educators Program from UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center provides educators an opportunity to explore the science and practical application of individual and collective well-being, helping to support the development of schools and classrooms where both students and adults thrive.

As part of the program, educators engage with three self-paced learning modules around well-being topics, implement a practice of their choice in their classroom or school, and join a small group of other educators from around the world in a synchronous online community of practice to discuss the module content, implementation experiences, learnings, and wonderings with one another.
