Join together in community with educators from around the world to explore the science and practical application of personal and collective well-being. Our Communities of Practice (CoPs) help educators bring the science of well-being into their schools, creating classrooms where both students and adults can flourish.
Communities of practice are a transformational learning experience where participants learn with and from each other around a shared purpose. Unlike traditional “sit and get” professional development or courses, communities of practice build on the rich and varied experiences of their members and offer immediately relevant practices for each members’ unique context. Greater Good Educators
Greater Good Educators (GGE) is a research-based professional development experience designed to support educators in fostering personal and collective well-being. In this supportive community of practice (CoP), educators will nurture greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose—all things that contribute to their well-being.
Greater Good Schools
Greater Good Schools is a fellowship for GGE alumni who are ready to apply what they learned in Greater Good Educators in a larger context. Fellows who are accepted into the program are awarded a stipend to design and implement a project that strengthens individual and collective well-being for adults and/or students in their school communities. Fellows are supported in a year-long community of practice facilitated by GGSC.
